Here is our Christmas Turtle all snug and warm after a good night's sleep. Hope she learns the sink is NOT a cat box soon!
We got up about 7:30 am, because our friend Jack Ballow was coming to visit on his way to Graham...supposed to be here about 10. I happened, and I don't normally, to look at my cell phone, and there was a message. It was from Jack, timed at 6 am, that said he was out front asleep in his pick-up and to wake him up when we got up. I thought, since Jack can be a jokseter, that it was a joke, but Raf went and looked outside...sure enough, there was Jack. Raf made coffee, woke Jack up, and I called Carolyn to come over...as Jack is her godfather.
It had been 10 years since Carolyn had seen Jack. Joey walked over, too, and we had a wonderful, wonderful visit.

Mary Lynn comes in tonight, and we are all meeting the McCaslands at El Paseo tonight for supper. Then tomorrow, it's church, deliver bread, eat pizza, rest, and go to midnight mass.
