Thanksgiving - God Blessed the Broken Road That Led me Straight to You

My Glitter Power Sisters started a Thanksgiving post...thankful for our husbands. I am going to add to that.

I am so thankful for Raf. He has always been with me, in sickness and health. And in this time of sickness Raf has done EVERYTHING! God bless him. In 2007 we will celebrate our 30th anniversary. We weren't the first spouse for either of us, and that's one reason the Rascal Flats' song, God Blessed the Broken Road that led me Straight to You is so sentimental to us...so true:

I set out on a narrow way many years ago
Hoping I would find true love along the broken road
But I got lost a time or two
Wiped my brow and kept pushing through
I couldn't see how every sign pointed straight to you
Every long lost dream lead me to where you are
Others who broke my heart they were like northern stars
Pointing me on my way into your loving arms
This much I know is true
That God blessed the broken road
That led me straight to you.

This Thanksgiving I am thankful for many things: friends, family, home, healing health, prosperity, our country...but especially for you, Raf!

Raf sounds like a husband to be thankful for! A good marriage is a wonderful thing, and a partner who can be depended on is a reason to be thankful.

I am a glitter sister and would love to take part in this tribute.
I notice my name is not on the Glitter Sister's Page, does this mean I an't participate?
