North Central Texas Mixed Media Group

I started an Yahoo online mixed media group that has exploded into a meet-up group. We have been going since January 21, 2006, and we have 36 members. Most of us live close to the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex, but we have members who travel all the way from Oklahoma to meet with us and members in Canada who enjoy our swaps.

We have an event coordinator now who plans our meetings. The photos who the most recent meet-up last weekend in Dallas. Our next meet-up will be December 9 in east Fort Worth at Paper Planet.

Our artists are as mixed as the media we use. We have a fantastic doll maker, botanical artists, art instructors, art store/website owners, quilters, ATC makers, jewelry makers, altered artists...you name it.
