Raf had a wonderful time yesterday. We had been invited out to the Moline Ranch in Millsap for a late Thanksgiving dinner. I wasn't yet able to get out, so he went and enjoyed the company of a family that my family has known since the 1950's. Raf presented them with a CD of the songs he has written based on the ranch history and the family. Four of the five generations are alive and were there to celebrate. Sadly the Moline ranch is up for sale, and one more piece of family history will be bought by people from the north looking for unspoiled land on which to build their golf courses and huge piles! Thanks be to God for the Moline family and our ties to them. They are truly Texas originals!

Later in the afternoon friends from Keller, Linda and Bill Zombeck, stopped by. The often camp at Mineral Wells State Park on holidays and wanted to come by and check on me. They are friends we met through the online group rmmga (rec.music.makers.guitars.acoustic), and they and others in the group have become like family to us. Thank God for good friends!!
