Chrysanthemum, also known as Daisy

This is the October challenge for the Botanical Yahoo Group. I started drawing again yesterday after a long time. I NEED to do this so that I can take my mind off the surgery. Today they take blood for the first time for the surgery...ugh!

I love 'Shall we dance' it is delicious. Also the lovely drawings of the leaves in the wood. I have never heard of this magazine before. Properly doesn't exist in England, we are very bad at getting decent mixed media magazines.

Souix, The Mum is very nice. Yes drawing will help relax you and aid in your healing. Giving blood....ugh at least you'll be getting your own back. When is surgery?

Ouch! My theory is, if I don't look I don't feel it. Hope it went smoothly for you.
Love the daisy! Art almost always will take my mind off of worries, if I just remember! and push myself to do it.
Glad you're able to keep creating your art to work through your worries - and it's lovely

Hi Sioux...thank you so much for dropping by my blog and leaving a comment:-) I so enjoy "meeting" new people!! I've just read some of your posts and I want to wish you the very best of luck with your hip replacement surgery!! I have a friend who needs to go for a knee replacement surgery soon and she's quite nervous about it too! Love your drawings also!! Take care:-)
