Roger Williams and Fort Worth
Last night we attended the monthly meeting of the Republican Club of Palo Pinto County Texas. We had as our speaker, Roger Williams, who was once the Secretary of State for Texas. While a little to glib for my taste, Mr. Williams said all the right things, and I do believe he is a good Christian man who says, if he wins the seat as a U. S. Senator from Texas in 2012, he will use the Constitution and the Bible as his guides.
Today we are headed for Fort Worth for books, food, liquor, wood, art supplies, etc. I do love to go to Fort Worth. It is less than an hour, and it contains gardens, museums, restaurants, performance halls, pubs, and lots and lots of wonderful shops.
We've eaten breakfast and walked, so bathe and dress and go!!! See ya later, alligators!
