EDM--Weekly Challenge #56--Self Portrait
Well, I did it. I tried. It doesn't look a thing like me. DH looked at it and said, "Well, it has the requisite features...glasses, hair cut the right length,nose, mouth, but it doesn't look a thing like you."Yep, but at least I attempted it, thanks to the EDM group. So many people on the EDM group have encouraged each other to try, and I know if we don't attempt and practice whatever we wish to do, we won't get anywhere!
So, for better or for worse, I tried. This was my first attempt to draw a person of any sort.

excellent sketch! for me, i don't think self-portraits have to look like you too much; only *feel* like you at the moment you draw it. your drawing has that look of concentration -- looking intently at something, perhaps a mirror? =) great job!
