Crane Fly for CPS

This week's prompt for Cloth Paper Studio in the Be Prompt! challenge is FLY. So I decided to draw a crane fly. I discovered a lot of information about the Crane Fly, as well. I drew this with my Micron pens and colored it with Derwent Graphitint pencils and then used Niji water brushes to brighten the colors of the pencils.

Interesting that they're called Daddy Long Legs in England, since that's what I've grown up calling those awfully long-legged spiders...

I can't especially say I'm a fan of insects, but this one is very well drawn.

Nice bug Sioux! The wings are especially nice with the delicate shading.

Very nicely done! The graphitint pencils seem to be working very well with delicate drawings like this. Seems like they are not as strong as regular w/c pencils. Afterall the name "tint" is in the pencil!
