IF--Wrinkles + Trees

Illustration Friday's prompt was Wrinkles, so I wrinkled up a newspaper. Can't say I like it, but I tried: pen and ink

T'was a beautiful day outside yesterday, so I tried to sketch the trees in the yard. Not happy with this either, but oh, well: watercolor pencil, pen and ink, colored pencil

They're both strong pieces! I don't think we're ever satisfied with our outcome, but the most important thing is to keep at it :)

We only fail when we don't try. I like your newspaper drawing.

Enjoyed seeing your sketches. I like both the newspaper and the tree with the birdbath. I couldn't do near as well.

Thanks for dropping by my Writing Nook. Hope you have a great Sunday.

Blessings,
Mary

It's a much better effort than I could muster! I can't even draw flies. ;o)

Hope your Sunday is blessed, Sioux.

Love and hugs,

Diane

Dear Sioux ~~ Your tree is really nice with the added birdbath - well done. I cannot draw anything. Thank you for the Texas stuff, I did
not expect you to send it all the way "Down Under." Anzac Day is in memory of Australian and New Zealand troops landing at Gallipoli (Turkey)in WW 1 where thousands died, a lot as they landed.Nowadays we include all men and women from all wars. We also celebrate Remembrance Day on Nov. 11th.
Glad you enjoyed Bill Gates rules
and the summer job. Take care, Love, Merle.

I wish I could even begin to do something artistic! Well done in my unartistic opinion!
