Skywatch Friday, Trip Vol. 2

Actually this should have been Vol. 1 of our trip as it was taken from our airplane as we winged our way from the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex to Vancouver BC. The sky sure does look different if you are in it or above it!! This was September 7, 2008, at about 40,000 feet...and who knows what the temperature was! But below us is Mt. Rainier. Skywatch Friday.

Good dhot. I like the mountain covered by snow among the clouds.
Nice catch..... Reminds me the saying,,,, We never know how high we are, till we are called to ris; and then, if we are true to plan, our statures touch the sky... Happy Skywatch! Hope you can visit my SWF entry too...

How interesting...
Mt. Rainier is beautiful from any angle, and of course the clouds really add to the shot...

Love this! The blue is so deep and mysterioius; it almost looks like the ocean. Love the clouds, and they sort of camouflage the mountain, which is gorgeous. Nice shot!
