SkyWatch Friday (my second week)

After a week of glorious rain, cool (70˚F) weather, and a shower early in the morning, the sky transformed into a clear, clean, powder-blue, the sun shown gloriously, reflecting through the Rose of Sharon glowing with the sublime light, dazzling with rain drops.

Place: our front yard in Mineral Wells TX
Time: 11 am, August 21, 2008
Temperature: 85˚F

Lovely blue sky. If you had rain as often as we do in the UK, you wouldn't be calling it glorious ;O)
Beautiful picture--great pop with the Rose of Sharon. MB

Hi Sue, this is a very pretty picture. It just goes to show that even in the rain the flowers are blooming. :-)
Thank you for your nice visit and comment, I did like that day, both on the road and on the lake.

Thanks for your earlier visit ~ I am slow to make the rounds this week. Lovely sky watch and I do like the contrast of the white rose in the corner vying for the attention.
