Carolyn's Quilt of Many Colors
I FINALLY finished the quilt I began for Carolyn BEFORE my hip replacement. Man, am I glad to get it done. I've even hated it because I always felt so bad when I was working on it, but when I took it up this time, I felt fine and now I'm really pleased with the results. This is only my second quilt. The first was the one I made for our oldest granddaughter, Dani, when she turned 13.
This quilt is a turning 20, but I used a different fabric for each block, many were batiks, and I did 8 blocks on the embroidery machine using a Sue Box design CD. This quilt was by way of a thank you to Carolyn for all the help she always gives us, and it was to replace the "coat of many colors" I made for her when she was 11, that her step-mother threw away...therefore this is called Carolyn's Quilt of Many Colors.

what a wonderful quilt you have made with those artistic embroideries. I've actually not seen embroidered quilts before. Carolyn must be delighted.
Beautiful!
Wonderful work dear heart!
