I was inspired to draw a series of an apple being eaten. Since I don't like apples, but Raf does, so he ate and I sketched. It really is important to practice, isn't it? The more we draw, paint, sketch, the more we are able. I am so glad for these challenge pages which push me to practice!
Micron .50 pen in sepia and watercolor.

Great way to do this challenge Sioux! I love your apple and all the bites. Did you paint this?
Isn't IMT fun?!
I love the challenges too, as I feel I have to push myself beyond my own limits. Fun drawing of the apple! Great idea!
This is fabulous. I think I would like to try this but I too don't like apples!! Maybe another fruit? orange? Great work Souix!
this is a great series! You do this type of sketching so well and I love the color. Great job Sioux.
This came out GREAT! I was positive the colors came from Photoshop, not sepia and watercolor! Keep it up -- your stuff is getting better by the posting.
Yes, very good
Each one gets better.
This is really wonderful! You picked all the right stages of the apple's consumption...I feel as if I'm watching it happen! Perfect color green, too... Yes, these challenges are great!
This is great Sioux, I also agree that you are getting better with each challenge. I guess practice really does help. Great idea with all the stages of the apple.

Sioux,
I like this, it's simple and clean. Good job. I think practice make all the difference in the world! Besides, it's fun!
What a fantastic idea! I love it :)
This is a great series! Love the bright green color! Looks like it was a tasty apple!

Very nice transition series. I love the challenges too. You are very talented, keep up the good practice. :D
Fab idea and such fun, Judy x
GREAT job!!...and, I totally agree about the more you draw...the more you become creative and excel. Sadly...I hardly ever really get my pastels and paints out...and, I need to definitely do this because I am definitely rusty! I am so stuck with drawing everything on the computer.
Anyway...FANTASTIC job!!
my mother eats all the apple she doesn't leave a core, not a stem nor the seeds, she eats it all. At least you can paint this series...it made me laugh, recalling my Mom's apple habits!
I love this Sioux!! very clever
