This is my sketch for EDM this week's #61 challenge of collections. I have never been much of a collector, except for thimbles which my youngest daughter, Christi, began for me about 20 years ago. You can see her picture...and that of her family...below in the previous blog, about Tavis playing baseball.

I like your collection! And I am especially fond of how you swirled your words around your thimbles like so many fingers....
Wwonderful story and sketch. my grandmother who was a seamstress also collected thimbles, which I think was started by one of the grandkids.
What a lovely sentiment, perfect for these great drawings!
Lovely sketch of your thimbles - Wow 50 thimbles huh? they are such and sweet little things that just scream 'collect me'!
PRETTY!!
Yes, I like the combination of text and the pictures.
I should have added 'thimbles' to the list of alternatives in the journal entry that goes with my response to this challenge. I started collecting them when the DH and I visited cathedrals in the UK. I am very jealous of your kitten thimble, being a slave to a cat myself.
Cheers,
