How wonderful that you sing our National Anthem at the end of weekly church service!
And I can certainly see why there was not a dry eye in the house! I've got goose-bumps again. I guess I can't see a Marine standing at attention, and not get them.
What a handsome young man! Tell him thank you for what he is doing. Groovylady got to go visit her new soldier this week-end as well. Another handsome young guy!

Oh! How proud you must feel, Sioux! What a handsome young man. Glad you're able to have him home for a visit. My niece just graduated Friday from bootcamp at Fort Jackson, and was on her way to Maryland for tech school the next day. Wishing your Joey all the best.
It's wonderful that you are so spiritual and so family oriented. I envy that. And yes, I did have the impression that Texas was a vast...well not desert...but vast and lonely. I can see I was in the wrong part of Texas!
