OK, here's the deal. My mother's brother was born and died in 1907. However, in 1940 the United States Census shows him living with his parents in Brown County, Texas. Can anyone explain this to me?
I have learned over the two plus decades of working on family genealogy to not trust records. So many times censuses back then were always in error. I had one gggrandfather coming from GERMANY and the 1880 census had him born in Ireland. Go figure.
