This was taken at the side of the road on I-20 west of Cisco, Texas, a week and a half ago. It was taken with my iPhone, and it shows what a West Texas sky looks like when it is building up for a cold front. This was facing north at about 3 pm.Check out other Skywatch Friday posts!

Nice sky.
My son had worked some years in Houston in the 90's, I'd good "souvenirs" from your Texas.
REally pretty sky....wish we would have seen more of that this past week. I myself am already tired of the gloomy sky. Have a great weekend. I know you will! Happy SWF.
I love skies like this. Maybe not the cold front, but the prelude is nice!

A very pleasant shot... cold fronts seem to show some great skies at times.

Wonderful impressive sky!
Nice convergance of oblique lines in the sky and road. Good clouds too.
That's building up for a cold front? But they look like innocent, fluffy, perfectly harmless clouds! Very pretty sky, in fact!
Happy Sky Watching!
I posted a photo of a canoe Among bigger cousins for my entry.
What a wonderful sky! I am cheered by looking at all these great skies. I enjoyed reading your blog profile too. Nice to meet you! Greetings from South Africa
Love the fluffy clouds.
With cameras in phones and small versions that can fit easily in your pocket it is so much easier to get great pictures. I invite you to come see my sky views from the BC Ferry to Powell River. -- Margy
