2 Babies for Show and Tell Friday

In looking through old albums, I came across these photos which have always been together...at least for the last 65 years. What do you think...same baby...different baby?John McBee Ficke (Daddy) born in 1913 in Wheeler, Texas.
Johnette Sue Ficke (me) born in 1942 in Stephenville, Texas

Thought you might enjoy seeing them. My daddy died in 1961, but I feel close to him to this day, and I love how much we looked alike as babies.

Hi Sue! You do look like your Dad, at least as babies!
You asked if the parish hall I mentioned was Anglican. It is St. Paul's Episcopal Church in my town. I hang out there a lot, for yoga and comtemplative prayer classes. The Morning Reflections by Lowell Grishom, the rector, are wonderful, and I subcribe to those on-line! (see my side bar)

I can't believe you had 3 such tiny babies! I'm always glad to hear such good stories of healthy preemies. Ours are doing so great!

G'day from Australia,

There is nothing more precious than a child's love and admiration for a parent. What a great blessing ....

Yes indeed, you do look like your father as a baby. I enjoy old family photos too, and like putting different generations together at similar ages (father and son at age seven, for example).
