Raf is 68
Well, yesterday was Raf's 68th birthday. He had already gotten a new camera, but I got him a pair of shorts and a shirt (thanks to Barney and Allen).
We started the day with eggs and bacon at the house. Then we took off for Fort Worth. We ate lunch at Kincaid's Hamburgers. We went to the Omni, an IMAX theatre, in the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History to see a movie on Van Gogh. We went to the art store, to the Amon Carter Museum to see the Ansel Adams exhibit, to the book store, and finally dinner at Saltgrass (they are about the only people in town who serve Prime Rib (guess that is "out" right now in the culinary world)).
Then home. Carolyn, John, and Bethy came over for a while. He got lots and lots of phone calls and well wishes on the net, especially of FaceBook. I think he had a good day.
He is the love of my life, and I am so thankful for him. Happy Birthday, again, Honey!
