Cross Ministires...dedicated to all the babies who have ever been aborted

A couple of weeks ago, right before we went up to the Panhandle to see my cousin George and our friends Kathy and Al, my high school classmate, Don Pope, sent me a link to photos of the Cross Ministries in Groom, Texas, right on I-40 east of Amarillo. I'm so glad he did because we were able to view this 19-story cross and the life-sized Stations of the Cross dedicated to all the babies who have ever been aborted. What a testimony to the power and love of Christ. If you get the opportunity to see this...do!

Wow!! Is this something new? We've been along I40 many times in the past and I don't remember ever seeing this. We'll be sure to next time! Thanks for sharing about it.

Stunning. I hate to be a cynic but I hope the permits are all in place and someone does not come along and protest. Pleases tell me this is on private land and is visible from public land. Truly beautiful. I'm sending the link to my son. He may be driving through I40 in a couple of months.
That is beautiful! I have seen many stations of the cross but that one is awesome!

We pass this cross every time we drive from NM to OK to visit my inlaws! I see it from the highway and tell Joe one of these days we're going to stop to see what it is all about, but we haven't yet. I didn't realize what it stood for and I didn't know it had all those other statues and other things all around it. How neat to learn what it was for. Thanks for sharing!

That is absolutely amazing and wonderful. Somebody sent me the pictures of the sculptures, but not the huge cross or the reason for it. Thanks!

I believe I saw this cross a couple of years ago traveling with dd. I have a picture of it. Didn't know what it was at the time, just a giant cross.
